Sync: SYNC with Jeff Jacobs, Harpo Entertainment Group, benefiting The Children's Museum

Larry Cox

EVENT PARTNER:
Pepperdine Graziado Business School

“Building a Business by Instinct, Not Business Plans”
A strong vision is crucial to forming any business venture, but in Mr. Jacob’s experience as a global business leader, sticking to a stringent business plan will limit your productivity and opportunities for success. Jacobs will focus on the less measurable elements that characterize a successful business and share how you can turn your entrepreneurial dreams into reality.

SPEAKER
Jeff Jacobs began his career in Chicago as a trial attorney, and soon evolved his career into representation of professional athletes and radio and television personalities. About six months after Oprah Winfrey came to Chicago, she hired Mr. Jacob's as her attorney/manager. Together over 18 years, they built Harpo Entertainment Group into a worldwide brand. Six years ago Mr. Jacobs left Harpo and began teaching Entertainment Law at Loyola Chicago School of Law. Today he resides in Santa Barbara and does private investing, strategic advising and philanthropic work.
