Interested in being a Speaker
Advance the community, by educating and motivating individuals to create, develop and act on his or her entrepreneurial ideas.
- Speaker and Event Format:
- 1 hr cocktail reception
- 5 minute introduction by Catalyst host to introduce speaker, sponsor and non-profit>
- 3-5 minute presentation on sponsor and non-profit
- 45 minute speaker presentation-including "The Catalyst"; action items of how attendees can implement the items speaker has talked about
- 15 minutes - Q&A
- What we'll need from you:
Before the Event:
- Bullet points of your presentation as you'd like it to appear on all marketing materials
- A brief, 3-5 sentence bio as you'd like it to appear on all marketing materials
- A short conference call to review your speaking topic and outline points
- A video recording of a past presentation (if available)
- Power Point presentation for board review (2 weeks prior to event)
During the Event:
- Arrive 45 minute prior to event
- Presentation outline to be handed out to attendees at the beginning of your talk (we'll make the copies)
- Any other pamphlets, reading material, or list of resources (we'll make the copies)
- Where you'll be seen:
- Your name and/or logo shown on all flyers posted in Santa Barbara County
- Your name and/or logo shown on postcards distributed throughout Santa Barbara
- Your name and/or logo shown as the speaker in mass emails
- (2) complimentary passes into catalyst for the event you are speaking at
- Featured on the Catalyst website as the speaker
- Featured on Catalyst's MySpace page as the speaker
- Featured on Catalyst's Facebook page as the speaker
